Fredyl is also a senior artist-teacher member of the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA). Most of his involvements in PETA are to be found in the company's theater for development thrust such as the ARTS Zone Project, a cultural advocacy on children's rights and positive discipline, and the Lingap Sining, a creative campaign that uses theater and the arts as approaches in processing experiences of disaster and humanitarian emergencies.
He is frequently invited as a resource person / consultant in different art programs and activities of the Department of Education. His most recent involvements include the development of the integrated curriculum for Music and Arts, and the crafting of curriculum for the expansion of the Special Program in the Arts to the elementary level. He is also a newly accepted member of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts' National Committee on Cultural Education.
He was a 2019 Fellow of the Arts for Good Fellowship, a program of the Singapore International Foundation which aims to foster a community of practice that harnesses the power of arts and culture for positive social change. He participated in the program's creative exchanges in Singapore and India. In 2021, he was part of the International Exchange Program organized by International Association of Theatre for Children and Young People (ASSITEJ) Germany in the City of Braunschweig. This year, he was a collaborator in the Young IDEA Lab in Reykjavik, Iceland for the 9th International Drama/Theatre and Education Association (IDEA) World Congress. He also received full scholarship-grants to two short programs, namely the Kaimera Lab 2022, a training on site-specific, immersive, and participatory performance organized by Kaimera Productions in Gorzanow, Poland; and the Atelier for Young Festival Managers Nicosia 2022 of the European Festivals Association's The Festival Academy through its Conflict Region Special Call in Nicosia, Cyprus.
