Marilyn R. Canta, Ph.D.
Professor
Philippine visual arts and architecture, Philippine textile history, South Asian art

Prof. Canta completed her PhD in Philippine Studies in 2014, with a dissertation on Indo-Philippine textile relations. Her Masters, on the other hand, was about Spanish colonial churches in Camarines Sur. These topics mark her interest in convergences in Philippine art history. Prof. Canta is currently involved in heritage efforts at the parish of Betis, Guagua, Pampanga.
