"Tilde Acuña (Arbeen Acuña) teaches courses on Philippine Studies, Philippine literature, and creative writing in Filipino at the Department of Filipino and Philippine Literature – University
of the Philippines Diliman, where he earned an MA Araling Pilipino. His essays have appeared in Kritika Kultura, Humanities Diliman, Jacket2, Bulatlat, DavaoToday, and
anthologies published by National Commission for Culture and the Arts, Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino, Sentro ng Wikang Filipino, University of the Philippines Press, Congress of
Teachers/Educators for Nationalism and Democracy, among others. He authored the book of fiction Oroboro at Iba Pang Abiso [Oroboro and other Notices] (UP Press, 2020) and co-edited Ulirát: Best Contemporary Stories in Translation from the Philippines (Gaudy Boy 2021), Destination: SEA 2050 A.D. (Penguin Random House SEA 2022), and other anthologies."
